  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and technical support to engineers and designers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Structural Design Development: Develop structural designs from conceptual to detailed design stages, providing sustainable and efficient solutions.
  • Analysis Knowledge: Possess extensive analysis knowledge of in-place, preservice, spectral fatigue, seismic, pushover, and jacket mating for fixed platform structures, as well as in-place, lifting, transit, and blast conditions of offshore structures.
  • Guidance and Instruction: Provide guidance and instruction to engineers for secondary and miscellaneous calculations, and to designers for detailing and drawing preparation.
  • Specifications Preparation: Prepare specifications for design basis reports and soil investigations in line with client requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, project teams, and site teams to optimize layouts and general arrangements of structures, resolve interference issues, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Engineering Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of civil and structural drawings.
  • Technical Discussions: Conduct technical discussions with subcontractor consultants to review and approve drawings and design calculations.
  • Hands-On Experience: Possess hands-on experience with industry software, including 3D model review tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Geotechnical Report Review: Review geotechnical reports and interpret soil parameters for analysis and design of shallow and pile foundations.
  • Project Coordination: Participate in project coordination meetings to resolve technical issues and ensure project schedules are met.
  • Prioritizing Engineering Activities: Prioritize engineering activities to meet project schedules and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Bid Evaluation: Evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids for compliance with company specifications and scopes of work.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to resolve construction problems and site mismatches concerning drawings issued for construction.
  • Pre-Bid Engineering Support: Provide pre-bid engineering support by calculating architectural, civil, and structural BOQs.
  • Standard Preparation: Prepare standard spreadsheets, audit, and approve standard design programs and templates related to civil and structural engineering.
