Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Well Engineer I to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Field Superintendent and Reservoir Development/Petroleum Engineering teams to plan resources and ensure well intervention jobs are executed efficiently and within the best timeframe.
  • Develop cost-effective Rigless solutions to address production and integrity-related issues.
  • Take ownership of planning and utilization of operations assets, including Lift Boat, to maximize resource utilization and minimize non-productive time.
  • Lead and organize weekly planning meetings with tasks oriented around 30 days and 90 days plans to ensure effective short-term and medium-term planning.
  • Monitor operations statistics, efficiency, and planning to minimize non-productive time and lost time due to controllable factors.
  • Cost-monitoring of every single category of operation asset and work on cost-cutting initiatives to optimize resource utilization.
  • Write tenders and tender evaluations, including commercial and remuneration evaluation models, to ensure best value for money.
  • Improve Slickline and wellhead maintenance work from planning to executing and evaluating to ensure optimal well performance.
  • Honor planning of short-term and long-term planning as part of the DWS schedule to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive campaigning work and scope of work to guarantee best utilization of resources and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with service providers to enhance the performance of interventions and ensure optimal well performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest intervention and completion technologies to increase production, reduce deferred production, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Help in setting more realistic budgets and expenditures to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Support well integrity implementation plans to ensure safe and efficient well operations.
  • Plan and execute P&A operations as needed, riglessly, and support the A&D department as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical/petroleum or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in well services/well intervention operations, and pumping with at least 5 years in senior design role capacity. Preferably a combination of service company and operator with a good mix of technical and operations management. Good knowledge and experience in workovers and snubbing.
