Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and record patient histories to diagnose and treat a range of pediatric conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and communicate results to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication therapy, vaccinations, and specialized care, to prevent or treat diseases, injuries, and illnesses.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients, parents, and community members on disease prevention methods, including diet, hygiene, and activity recommendations.
  • Design and implement community healthcare programs to promote the physical and mental development of adolescents and children.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of therapists, assistants, nurses, students, and other support staff, and refer patients to specialists or other physicians as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, exams, medications, vaccination information, diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine and specialization degree in Pediatrics.
  • Current BLS and CPR certification.
  • Current state medical license.
  • Minimum four years of pediatric experience.
