Responsibilities:

  1. Manage pre-surgical procedures for patients, ensuring timely preparation and efficient execution.
  2. Consult with patients' loved ones regarding upcoming procedures, addressing their concerns and expectations.
  3. Clearly communicate procedure details to patients before starting, alleviating anxiety and promoting trust.
  4. Notify relevant individuals about estimated recovery times, facilitating informed decision-making.
  5. Conduct thorough disinfection of medical devices before and after procedures, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  6. Prepare necessary tools and equipment for each procedure, guaranteeing readiness and efficiency.
  7. Maintain the operating area, ensuring it is well-prepared for each procedure.
  8. Assist other medical staff in wearing personal protective gear, prioritizing infection control and patient safety.
  9. Carefully prepare and clean the incision site, minimizing risks and ensuring optimal outcomes.
  10. Expertly handle cuts and wounds, applying appropriate dressings and treatments.
  11. Transport patients to the recovery room after surgery, monitoring their condition closely.
  12. Continuously monitor patients in the recovery room until they recover from anesthesia, intervening promptly if needed.
  13. Patient advocacy remains paramount, ensuring seamless transitions to other units or discharge when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Able to commute/relocate to Dubai (Dependably commute or planning to transfer before starting work)
  2. Experience: 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
  3. License/Certification: Qualification letter or DHA (Required)
