We are seeking a dedicated Finance Operations Manager to support the financial management of our esteemed establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Finance in managing the hotel's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including tax compliance and internal controls.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and key performance indicators to evaluate the hotel's financial health and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to formulate and track departmental budgets and forecasts, offering guidance and support as necessary.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responses to inquiries.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies aimed at optimizing revenue, minimizing costs, and maximizing profitability.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism within the team through effective training, mentoring, and performance management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with the capability to apply them in a hotel context.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting financial data and providing strategic insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards achieving excellence.
