  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that LNG Operations fully complies with Shell's internal standards, including compliance and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) risks that may impact vessels' voyage or port operations and Shell's license to operate.
  • Contractual Obligations: Ensure that all contractual obligations arising from time charter parties are carried out effectively and that all necessary requirements are complied with.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Traders, finance, shipping, safety, and global cargo operation teams, as well as external stakeholders, including vessel owners, masters, service providers, regulatory bodies, agents, and terminals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Continuously monitor and improve vessel's operational efficiency over and above contractual obligations.
  • Voyage Operations: Efficiently manage voyage operations, including bunker consumption, boil-off, speed, and heel management, as well as arrange bunkers and OPL activities.
  • Charter Parties Accounting: Manage and accurately execute charter parties accounting, claims, and reconciliations for external and internal deals.
  • Operational Data Management: Ensure that all operational data is timely entered into trading systems with a first-time right approach.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage operational-related disputes, including Condition of Use issues.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Deliver against relevant KPIs.
  • Multi-tasking and Problem-Solving: Multi-task on priorities and think on own feet to deal with contractual issues, ensuring that all are managed professionally and optimally for the trading business.
  • Global Collaboration: Actively engage with the global freight and cargo operations team members across regions to ensure operations process alignment, business continuity, and commercial added value opportunities and business needs are met.
  • Vessel Owner Account Management: Manage a vessel owner's account if required.
  • Commercial and Logistical Deal Options: Specifically seek to add value by exercising embedded commercial and logistical deal options and pro-active approach to problem-solving.
  • Team Support and Continuous Improvement: Support less experienced team members and share learnings as required. Participate and contribute to Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence projects.
  • Global 24/7 Trading Activities: Handle global 24/7 trading activities, and whilst colleagues are available in other time zones, respond flexibly to requests outside of normal office hours.
