Job Description

As a key member of the ALFAHIM team, the Finance and Insurance Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial and insurance operations forward. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance and insurance process, from initial customer interactions to final loan approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bank Operations:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior bank officials to negotiate optimal interest rates for car loans.
    • Meet with customers to gather required information and assess their eligibility for car loans.
    • Advise customers on alternative options if they are not eligible for a car loan and assign the insurance coordinator to assist them.
    • Process customer documents and submit them to the bank for loan approval.
  • Insurance:
    • Supervise the insurance coordinator to offer motor insurance coverage to customers and include it in the bank loan approval process.
    • Submit insurance requisitions to the service provider to issue insurance policies.
    • Coordinate with the sales team and facilitate payment for booked cars.
  • Used Cars:
    • Coordinate with the bank to settle outstanding loans and trade in used cars for new ones.
    • Collect liability certificates from customers and verify outstanding amounts against offered prices.
    • Agree/settle the difference between the two prices and follow up on release letters to transfer used car ownership to the company.
  • Reports:
    • Prepare insurance and finance reconciliation reports to highlight the bank's market share.
    • Generate bank commission reports to reflect percentage of payment distributed/income generated for the finance and insurance department, sales, and company on a monthly basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a retail banking environment and car loans, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience within the automotive dealer industry is preferred.
