Job Title: Senior Web Application Developer

Location: Dubai

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Application Developer to join our team at Precision Hire Solution and help us build innovative web applications and solutions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Application Developer with strong skills in JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, and Swift. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies and frameworks and be able to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. This role involves working on both frontend and backend development tasks to create seamless and effective user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Frontend Development: Design and implement user interfaces using JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g. React, Vue.js).
  2. Backend Development: Develop robust and scalable serverside applications using PHP and Laravel.
  3. Mobile Development: Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift.
  4. Database Management: Design and manage database schemas and perform optimization tasks.
  5. API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
  6. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  7. Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  9. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate the latest advancements into your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript including ES6 features and experience with modern frameworks/libraries (e.g. React, Vue.js).
  2. PHP & Laravel: Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework including knowledge of MVC architecture, routing, and Eloquent ORM.
  3. Swift: Demonstrated experience in developing iOS applications using Swift.
  4. HTML/CSS: Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  5. Database Systems: Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design.
  6. Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
  7. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  8. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Experience: 2 years of professional experience in web and mobile development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with other frontend technologies and frameworks.
  2. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
  3. Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
  4. Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding portfolio.
  5. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
