Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight
Formulate a comprehensive execution plan for the project by thoroughly understanding the needs of all stakeholders from a completion perspective.

Address and resolve any modifications in the workflow sequence due to unforeseen circumstances on-site.

Manage escalated concerns raised by the team that impact the timely completion of tasks, in collaboration with the Construction Manager, MEP, Design, and Procurement teams.

Provide value engineering options during the design phase to optimize costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Conduct regular reviews of progress against the annual operating plan and advise the Project Director or Project Manager if corrective measures are necessary.


Participate in frequent progress review meetings with all contractors to evaluate overall progress, quality, and safety, and recommend actions to ensure adherence to quality and timelines.


Lead a diverse team of professionals and coordinate with the client throughout all project phases to secure approvals, finalize specifications, report on progress, and facilitate final handover.

Engage in coordination meetings among various departments such as Civil, Design, and MEP to ensure that the correct sequence of operations is maintained on-site.

Ensure effective coordination with contractors, consultants, and other external entities to meet project deadlines.

Timely escalate Construction Request Notices to Project Directors or Commercial Managers to ensure project completion.

Technical and Commercial Functions
Prepare initial cost assessments for construction projects.

Oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, estimation, scope definition, finalization of technical and commercial aspects, and implementation of quality standards.

Compile a complete Bill of Quantities, create comparative statements, and suggest a list of contractors, ensuring the selection of capable bidders after negotiations, and prepare cash flow bar charts to expedite work on time-sensitive projects.

Safety and Quality Assurance
Implement the project’s quality and safety policies with the assistance of the Safety Quality Manager.

Develop and enforce processes that align with organizational standards and client specifications.

Inspect and monitor the quality of materials received from suppliers.

Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality in the execution of work.

Propose various value engineering options during the design phase to enhance cost efficiency without compromising quality and safety.

Maintain high standards at labor camps and ensure the welfare of workers.

Team Leadership
Establish project-related Key Result Areas (KRAs) and individual KRAs for team members.

Monitor the performance of team members by reviewing their KRAs.

Encourage the acquisition of new skills and methods, and suggest innovative approaches to enhance construction speed, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Foster team building and strive for excellence in all project endeavors.
