Job Description

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to manage site operations and ensure the timely completion of projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, MEP projects, and landscaping. You will be expected to provide technical guidance to subcontractors and laborers, oversee material management, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to subcontractors and laborers to improve site installation efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Conduct thorough site setting out, leveling, and surveying to verify plans and quantities.
  • Ensure all materials used and work performed meet project specifications, including selection and requisition of materials and equipment.
  • Manage contract design documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and the workforce to maintain open communication and facilitate project activities.
  • Supervise and monitor the site labor force and subcontractors to ensure effective management of site activities.
  • Organize site facilities to meet agreed deadlines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure all activities are completed as per specifications.
  • Prepare reports and resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in agriculture or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in MEP projects related to landscaping.
