Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct and uphold detailed financial models to assess project profitability, taking into account essential factors such as energy output, revenue channels, operational costs, tax benefits, and financing expenses.
  • Gather, verify, and systematize financial information from diverse sources. Support the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Analyze potential project investments through robust financial modeling. Remain updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate effectively with the risk management team to integrate risk considerations and mitigation tactics into financial assessments, ensuring a thorough evaluation of project feasibility.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Produce financial reports and convey insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize DCF methodologies to ascertain the present value of anticipated cash flows, facilitating precise evaluations of NPV and investment viability.
  • Enhance and sustain comprehensive financial models. Conduct sensitivity analyses and incorporate risk elements into financial assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within the renewable energy domain.
  • Proficient in financial software and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy markets and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
