We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Fabrication Technician to join our team at Oil And Gas Job Search Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The technician will be responsible for manufacturing stators and rotors for use in oilfield directional drilling.
  2. They will need to follow established procedures related to the stator and rotor manufacturing process.
  3. The ideal candidate will review and stay up-to-date on the necessary manufacturing procedures to be fluent and aware of critical parameters related to the process.
  4. Quality control checks will be performed at each stage of the manufacturing process prior to moving forward.
  5. The technician will support and participate in our company's Continual Improvement program and problem-solving initiatives.
  6. They will adhere to operating procedures (SOP) and perform tasks based on job hazard analysis.
  7. The operator will be responsible for the safe operation of overhead cranes in the movement of parts or products.
  8. Selecting the required CNC tools as per component and programming will be an essential task.
  9. Inspection results will be recorded in the respective format.
  10. Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines is required.
  11. Any abnormalities or variations observed in the manufacturing process will be reported to the relevant parties.
  12. The technician will ensure that all tools, gauges, and equipment used in manufacturing are properly maintained.
  13. The calibration date of inspection tools will be verified prior to inspection.
  14. A checklist, paper routers, or any ERP system will be documented and maintained.
  15. The candidate will assist and support in repair work of any machine or areas in the facility.
  16. Products, tubes & core will be handled at elevated temperatures following necessary safety procedures.
