Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join our team at TECNIMONT. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and systems in the field, under the guidance of the Key Operating Board (KOB), to maintain optimal production levels and ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact plant performance, including trips or partial loads, and implement corrective actions to restore normal operations.

During Commissioning:

  • Maintain accurate records of activities performed in the logbook.
  • Ensure seamless handovers with colleagues, communicating any notable events or issues.
  • Read and act on written handovers in the Control Room logbook.
  • Apply lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols as required for maintenance activities.
  • Follow instructions from Shift Supervisors and Desk Operators to operate the plant in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular checks for anomalies, such as smoke leaks, noises, vibrations, fluid levels, and instrument readings.
