Our client is a leading energy company that engages in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas. The company operates through three main segments: Upstream, Downstream, and Corporate. The Upstream segment focuses on crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids exploration, field development, and production. The Downstream segment is responsible for refining, logistics, power generation, and the marketing of crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products and related services to international and domestic customers. The Corporate segment provides supporting services, including human resources, finance, and information technology.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Accounting Systems Division (ASD). ASD is responsible for finance business cycles optimization, finance systems implementation support, and administration. In addition to implementing digital solutions for the Controllers and Treasury admin areas, ASD is also responsible for executing Payroll and Month/Year end processes. The department personnel are mainly business system analysts who understand both the business and the IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Work with organizations at all levels to maintain the corporate management information system for policy decision making.
- Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, and project proposal reports.
- Prepare user manuals and documentation for business system implementation.
- Interface with IT during the design and implementation of IT-based business systems, providing support to IT as needed.
- Provide support, advice, and business procedures to maintain data integrity within department business organizations.
- Deliver training to operational and staff personnel to maximize the effectiveness of Business Systems.
- Prepare conversion plans and user installation plans for applicable organizations.
- Maintain communication with IT Liaison representatives in other departments for knowledge sharing.
- Ensure alignment between system configuration and corporate policies.
- Analyze and evaluate current systems, identify business and operational requirements, and assist in the design, development, and launch of systems to support core business functions.
- Lead business system studies, reviews, recommends improvements, and enhances complex business systems within the assigned area.
- Assume the role of department representative in business system development and effectively represent the respective department.
- This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline.
- Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or professional certification (e.g., CMA) preferred.
- 12 years of related experience.
- Business system analyst skills including information analysis and process improvement.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities.
- Experience with SAP/Finance Modules is desirable.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
