Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Backend System Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Designing and implementing Java-based applications that meet specific requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality code that adheres to project specifications.
  • Collaborating with the team to determine application functions and building objectives.
  • Ensuring written code aligns with project goals.
  • Experience in handling external and embedded databases like Mongo, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and Elastic Search.
  • Skilled at creating database schemas that support business processes.
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools like Git.
  • Understanding basic design principles behind scalable applications.
  • Microservice design and architectural patterns.
  • Implementing design patterns for distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Maintenance of Docker/Container clusters.
  • Problem-solving with other team members.
  • Identifying and resolving issues with applications.
  • Drafting detailed reports on work performed and projects completed.
  • Participating in group meetings.
  • Assisting developers with troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Meeting deadlines on deliverables.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • A degree in computer sciences or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Java-based programming.
  • Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • A strong portfolio of top-class coding and builds.
  • Ability to work with developers and assist junior team members.
