Teachmecode is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable and high-performance backend systems using Java.

This is a 1-year contract renewable position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop backend systems using Java.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  3. Contribute to architectural decisions and lead the adoption of emerging backend technologies and frameworks.
  4. Draft detailed reports on work performed and projects completed.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years experience in C++ based programming.
  2. Proven expertise in designing and developing high-volume and low-latency applications.
  3. Familiarity with complex event processing and event-driven architecture.
  4. Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments.
  5. Ability to handle external and embedded databases.
  6. Strong understanding of implementing design patterns for distributed systems.
