Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Mason to join our team at The First Group Dubai. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a range of maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Day-to-Day Maintenance Calls: Receive and follow up on maintenance calls to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  2. Job Reporting: Report the summary of jobs carried out for individual guest rooms and common areas, including all used materials.
  3. Ceramic Tiling and Grouting: Perform ceramic tiling, retiling, silicon, and grouting work to maintain the high standards of our facilities.
  4. Brick Laying and Plastering: Carry out brick laying, hollow block work, cement plaster work, and casting of plain cement concrete to ensure the structural integrity of our buildings.
  5. Marble and Granite Work: Modify and install marble tops and granite panels for wash basins and kitchen countertops to maintain the aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
  6. Painting and Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for paint application, including sanding, filling, joint repair, and re-cleaning work to ensure a smooth finish.
  7. Painting and Coating: Perform all types of painting work, including application of water-based, oil-based, epoxy paints, and top coat paints to maintain the appearance of our facilities.
  8. Quality Control: Ensure proper application on gypsum, cement, wood, blocks, etc. and contribute to guest satisfaction by ensuring that technical support services quickly address issues.
  9. Team Collaboration: Provide assistance to the team whenever requested to complete projects smoothly and safely.
  10. Guest Satisfaction: Contribute to guest satisfaction by ensuring that technical support services quickly address issues, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests.
  11. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of all completed work by both employees and external contracted staff adheres to the standards of good engineering practice.
  12. Cost Savings: Study consumable spare materials for rectification and repair instead of replacement, considering savings and safety.
