The UAE National Technical Advisor will be responsible for providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices and proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy. The successful candidate will possess strong technical acumen and customer-facing skills to develop trusting relationships with customers, understand their business needs and technical challenges, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  1. Advise on solutions and provide technical guidance
  2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  3. Develop trusting relationships with customers
  4. Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  5. Consult with partners from developers through to C-suite executives
  6. Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  7. Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  8. Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud
