Job Summary

As a Network Engineer at ENOC, you will be responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring the secure and reliable delivery of network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Operations
    • Manage and support all aspects of our active network infrastructure, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient operation.
    • Provide timely data and reports to IT Infrastructure Services Senior Manager, recommending network operational improvements to support planning and decision-making.
  • Incident Response and Resolution
    • Execute BAU activities and tasks related to active network components.
    • Develop and execute network maintenance SOPs to ensure effective operation of network controls, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide immediate fixes for network incidents and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Network Security and Compliance
    • Contribute to the development of IT security policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, and internal controls related to network operations.
    • Apply the latest security patches and bug fixes as soon as released by vendors.
  • Project Implementation and Collaboration
    • Participate in new project implementations during the project lifecycle (Dev, QC, UAT, Production).
    • Liaise with other IT Service managers to gain buy-in for proposed architectures and technology.
    • Work closely with suppliers and 3rd parties to ensure network industry best practices are followed.
  • Inventory Management and Reporting
    • Maintain network inventory for production, QC, DEV, UAT systems.
    • Provide regular reports on network performance and security.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business field or equivalent.
    • 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with a focus on network and network security concepts.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in network design, deployment, recovery, and management.
  • Skills and Certifications
    • Solid understanding of network and network security concepts and requirements.
    • Working knowledge of Windows AD, DNS, HTTP/s, SSH, LDAP, DHCP, etc.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, FW, networking protocols, and security concepts.
    • Preferred professional certifications: ITIL v4.
