Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing board resolutions and powers of attorney, reviewing translation service provider mark-ups, and liaising with government authorities in-person, by phone & by email in Arabic. The role also involves running CP processes, finalising documents for execution, arranging signature pages (transactions), following up for originals, and assisting with the preparation of closing bible.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Corporate/Commercial:
  2. Liaising with Government authorities in-person, by phone & by email (in Arabic);
  3. Preparing board resolutions and powers of attorney;
  4. Reviewing translation service provider mark-ups;
  5. Running CP processes, finalising documents for execution and arranging signature pages (transactions), following up for originals and assisting with the preparation of closing bible;
  6. Carrying out notarisation processes with private notary (including preparing underlying documents, making amendments pursuant to notary recommendations in both English and Arabic).
Projects:
  1. Strong document management / CP skills;
  2. Excellent word processing / formatting skills;
  3. Strong attention to detail for proof reading tasks;
  4. Previous transactional experience (not just litigious) is essential;
  5. General understanding of legal review of documents, including:
    1. How defined terms work;
    2. The interpretation section.
