Responsibilities:
  Key Responsibilities
• Plan and supervise geotechnical site investigations, including drilling, sampling, and field testing.
  • Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to assess risks and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure proper execution of geotechnical testing programs in line with project requirements.
  • Supervise geotechnical works, such as excavation, foundation preparation, ground improvement, and slope stabilization.
  • Provide on-site technical solutions for geotechnical challenges encountered during construction.
  • Ensure that geotechnical works comply with project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on geotechnical activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Liaise with the Resident Engineer to ensure seamless integration of geotechnical services into the overall project plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the geotechnical team.

Requirements:
  Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio) and field testing equipment.
  • Experience in infrastructure and building projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
