We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Assistant to join our team at Talent Pal. As a key member of our Procurement Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the Purchasing Officer and ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Purchasing Officer in accurately inputting Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) into the ERP system, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with suppliers, both current and potential, to establish a robust network of sources and drive cost savings.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Department to secure approvals and maintain regulatory adherence, ensuring our procurement practices are always compliant.
- Compile and present a monthly dashboard using Horizon data to provide valuable insights to Management, driving informed decision-making.
- Assist during the Purchasing Officer's absences or annual leaves to ensure continuity in procurement functions and minimize disruptions.
- Oversee annual ticket procurement for expatriates and collaborate with HR to update the annual ticket allowance table, ensuring seamless travel arrangements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Proactive approach with excellent communication skills, capable of establishing and nurturing external client relationships.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English for effective communication with stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.
- Quick responsiveness and proactive attitude in tackling procurement tasks and challenges, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in LPO management before supplier submission, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for generating insightful monthly reports and presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as an office assistant, providing support to colleagues as needed.
