BIM Project Manager

Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results in the field of digital engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage BIM processes across all project phases, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and enforce BIM standards and protocols, providing leadership and guidance to BIM coordinators and teams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective BIM integration and coordination.
- Conduct BIM planning, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Monitor BIM project workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Facilitate coordination and clash detection sessions using BIM tools, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models, ensuring they meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Lead training initiatives to enhance team proficiency in BIM tools and workflows, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence.
- Support project bidding by reviewing and evaluating BIM-related submissions, ensuring they meet client requirements and expectations.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM trends, tools, and technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
- Ensure that BIM data is correctly archived and managed for future use, maintaining a high level of data integrity and security.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in BIM management, with a proven track record of success.
- Expertise in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD, with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary BIM projects, with a strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proficient in managing BIM standards and protocols across multiple projects, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and best practices for BIM, with a strong understanding of their application and implementation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in advanced BIM tools, such as Dynamo, and other relevant software, with a strong understanding of their application and benefits.
- Experience in high-rise, mixed-use, or large-scale projects is a plus, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
