We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to join our team at Supercare Pharmacy.

  • This role involves providing customers with effective pharmaceutical services by dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, as well as offering information about medications and their use.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review customer prescriptions to ensure accuracy and suitability.
  • Provide customers with information and advice on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
  • Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
  • Ensure understanding of customer needs by conducting necessary questioning and providing assistance when required.
  • Achieve sales targets by using sales techniques, up-selling, and cross-selling of all Super Care categories.
  • Order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs, maintaining stock storing and handling.
  • Comply with local rules and regulations regarding pharmacy activities, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication and other pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Maintain and report the pharmacy's records as required by external authorities.
  • Advise customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, or healthcare supplies and train them on how to use devices.
  • Develop strong working relationships with local physicians and healthcare practitioners to strengthen business.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to process insurance and resolve billing issues.
  • Handle daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management, merchandising, etc.
  • Be flexible to work in different shifts and locations as assigned by the Line Manager to fulfill business requirements.
  • Coach and guide Trainee Pharmacists in preparation for graduation or licensure.
