The Medical Claims Officer will be responsible for providing quality service to clients, processing claims and approvals efficiently according to operations set standards.
- Manages daily claims administration work, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Evaluates claims for eligibility, making decisions on high-cost and complicated cases based on standard operating procedures.
- Handles International Preauthorization cases as required, coordinating with providers for direct billing.
- Attends calls and e-mails from insurance companies, clients, and providers, resolving issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage routine daily claims administration work, maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy.
- Evaluate claims for eligibility, making informed decisions based on standard operating procedures.
- Handle International Preauthorization cases, ensuring seamless coordination with international providers.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to calls and e-mails in a timely and professional manner.
