About Our Client

We are partnering with a prominent Abu Dhabi-based investment firm that invests across public and private markets in Europe and the US. The firm is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead its finance function.

Key Responsibilities

The finance manager will play a critical role in shaping the finance function, overseeing a team of senior accountants, and managing general ledger operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  2. Ensuring compliance with local UAE financial and taxation policies, including tax planning, local tax declarations, and submitting audit reports to authorities.
  3. Managing a team of senior accountants and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A CPA, ACA, CMA, or ACCA qualification.
  2. Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite.
  3. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  4. Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  5. Experience in the UAE is an advantage, but not required.
  6. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
