Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at NMC Royal Khalifa City.

About the Role
  1. This position is responsible for contributing to hospital-wide and departmental quality initiatives by performing a wide variety of complex office functions.
  2. The successful candidate will establish and maintain records, filing systems, and logs, ensuring seamless operations within the Quality & Accreditation department.
  3. This role involves utilizing a variety of word-processing, graphic/presentation, and database software applications to prepare departmental documents.
  4. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to serve as a resource to all departments, divisions, and units in areas relating to Quality department functions.
  5. A deep understanding of JCI standards, measurable elements, and intents is essential, along with continuous knowledge and understanding of JCIA functions and standards.
  6. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring quality improvement and innovation work remains focused on patient-centeredness, process efficiency, safe, and reliable patient care.
  7. The selected candidate will assist the HOD in maintaining necessary records pertinent to the JCI process and facilitate JCIA meetings.
  8. This position involves participating effectively in implementing and following up on Q.I. Plan activities, developing and maintaining records of policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and other documents.
  9. The successful candidate will also perform special projects and other related duties according to agreed-upon goals and parameters.
  10. Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey improvements made to work teams, staff, managers, and administrators throughout the organization.

Key Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in a clinical or allied health field is preferred, along with 2 years or more of experience in a healthcare setup.
  2. Knowledge of information systems, process improvement techniques, data management, and analysis expertise, specifically Excel, is required.
  3. An excellent command of oral and written English is essential, with Arabic language being desirable but not essential.
  4. The ability to take responsibility for own continued professional growth beyond minimum preparation is necessary.
  5. Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills are required to work effectively with Medical Staff, hospital personnel, and others.
