Health ECareers is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonography Imaging Educator to join our team. As an Imaging Education Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing program curriculum, monitoring student performance, and providing instruction and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop, implement, and monitor program curriculum for specified courses, ensuring that all required didactic and clinical educational needs are met.
  • Student Guidance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of program students, providing instruction, counseling, and guidance as needed.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as liaison as required with all clinical training site instructors, ensuring that educational standards are met and records are maintained.
  • Program Operations: Supervise the daily operation of the imaging educational program, including substituting for other instructors as needed.
  • Applicant Evaluation: Assist in the testing and interviewing of program applicants.
  • Program Budgeting: Give recommendations for and monitor the program budget.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Interpret the National and State standards for accreditation, developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures necessary for compliance with these standards.
  • Accreditation Support: Support programmatic accreditation, assisting with accreditation renewal.
  • Faculty Participation: Actively participate in faculty committees.
  • Accreditation Maintenance: Assist in the acquisition and maintenance of both national and state accreditation for the training program, meeting with accrediting agencies to discuss program operation and development.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in the professional discipline.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
  • License and Certification: For Imaging Programs, holds ARRT, or NMTCB, or ARDMS, or RDCS/RCS certification(s).
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
