Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Storage Systems Engineer to join our team at Energy Jobline. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable storage solutions for our enterprise environment
  • Manage and maintain our storage infrastructure, including Block Storage, Object Storage, and NetApp systems
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline storage management tasks
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with our Container and Kubernetes environments
  • Provide expert-level support for our storage systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or related field
  • Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in managing and maintaining enterprise storage systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Block Storage, Object Storage, NetApp, and NetBackup data protection technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Ansible and Python
  • Strong understanding of Container and Kubernetes environments, as well as experience with ODF (OpenShift Data Foundation)
  • Hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, and Backup technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Relevant certifications in storage technologies or related fields
  • Experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) hardware and architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and hybrid cloud environments
