About the Role

This Deputy Team Lead position is required to be based physically in Dubai, UAE, and involves collaborating with regional teams to improve performance, provide tailored solutions, and mentor team members on effective sales strategies.

The role includes optimising client profiles to replicate past successes, securing high-value deals, and managing risk by ensuring strong, compliant client relationships.

  • Collaborate with the APAC BD Team Leader to co-develop growth strategies for regional teams.
  • Drive institutional sales opportunities, build a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory with institutional clients in the ASEAN region.
  • Identify and propose solutions to address competency gaps in regional teams.
  • Work collaboratively with the PM team to customise and resolve complex issues.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop growth strategies with the APAC BD Team Leader for regional teams and propose strategies on how to achieve them.Identify and drive institutional sales opportunities, build a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory with institutional clients in the ASEAN region.Identify competency gaps in regional teams and propose strategies on how to bridge them.Provide guidance to team members on strategizing and prioritising sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a sales professional with a proven track record of building prospect pipelines, developing opportunities, and closing deals in the APAC region.
  • Extensive knowledge of products offered for institutional clients (Block Trading, Derivatives).
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate high tenacity, grit, determination, and proactiveness.
