As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our recruitment efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement an effective recruiting strategy, sourcing and attracting top talent through various channels, including databases, social media, cold calling, headhunting, and interviews.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making abilities, and the capacity to influence others. You will also need hands-on experience with recruiting software, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).

This opportunity is based in Dubai Air Navigation Services, where we provide air navigation services at four airports in the UAE. Our mission is to empower and develop all our people in delivering world-leading air navigation services that exceed every standard, assure our customers, and shape global innovation.

Key Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with department managers to identify future hiring needs and attract candidates using various sources, such as social media networks and employee referrals.

  • Ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent while developing a strong talent pipeline.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to relevant job boards, newspapers, colleges, etc.
  • Sourcing and recruiting candidates by using databases, cold calling, social media, attending careers fairs, etc.
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Promote the organization's reputation as the 'best place to work.'
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience in ATS, Aviation, or a closely related field.
  • Solid and extensive experience in headhunting, networking, and building the talent pipeline.
  • Proven work experience as a recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, APC's, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.).
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
