Job Description

Role Summary:

The Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman is seeking a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to join our team. As a key member of our Food & Beverage Service Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is nothing short of outstanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the smooth operation of the Food & Beverage department: Ensure that all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
  2. Maximize guest satisfaction and comfort: Work as part of a team to deliver a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
  3. Take ownership of duties and tasks: Ensure that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Deliver on departmental plans and objectives: Ensure that hotel initiatives & targets are achieved.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues: Ensure that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
  6. Build and maintain effective working relationships: Promote the company culture and values.
  7. Ensure adherence to legislation: Ensure due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in food & beverage service: A proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Hands-on approach: A can-do work style with a commitment to delivering results.
  3. Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service: A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to exceed guest expectations.
  4. Ability to find creative solutions: Take ownership of duties and tasks assigned and find innovative ways to deliver results.
  5. Personal integrity: A strong sense of personal integrity and a commitment to working in an environment that demands excellence.
  6. Experience of working with IT systems: Familiarity with various IT systems and platforms.
