Wood is seeking a highly experienced Lead Structural Engineer to support our client's in-house engineering projects in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with International codes and standards, including API, AISC, ISO, EN1993 (EURO), BS, ABS, and DNVGL.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team of engineers.
  • Proficient in structural software such as SACS, STAAD Pro, and FEM software like ANSYS & FEMAP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Experience with review software like TEKLA & NAVIS.
  • Conversant with ADNOC design standards.
