Teachmecode is looking for a Quantification Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quantification Specialist to join our high-frequency systematic equities team. As a founding member of the team, you will develop systematic backtesting, visualization, and trading platforms for global equity strategies.

You will collaborate with senior PMs and engineers to implement efficient backtester tools for simulation and live trading. Additionally, you will design and implement trading systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and timely execution. You will also mentor junior developers and share knowledge and best practices within the team.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and apply complex concepts. Substantial KDB/Q and Python programming experience is required, along with good knowledge of modern data science tools stacks and ML experience.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5+ years' experience in developing algorithmic trading systems
  2. Good understanding of using Slurm or similar parallel computing tools
  3. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field from a top-tier university
  4. Good knowledge of Jupyter, pandas, numpy, sklearn
