Job Description:The Senior Project Engineer, also known as the Lifting Operations Manager, is a key role within our offshore crane maintenance service company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical and operational execution of projects related to the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of offshore cranes and lifting equipment.
The ideal candidate possesses strong engineering expertise, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of offshore crane systems and the oil and gas sector. Key responsibilities include project management, technical leadership, team coordination, field operations, and continuous improvement.
Essential qualifications include a minimum 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, LEEA-UK qualifications, and relevant experience in oil & gas offshore and onshore lifting-related areas. Preferred qualifications include a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification, certifications in offshore safety training, and experience with digital tools for asset management and predictive maintenance.
A strong organizational and time management skillset, attention to detail, and good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
