The role involves overseeing maintenance, repairs, and 5 Yearly Major Maintenance overhauls of offshore cranes and lifting equipment, both offshore and onshore. This position requires flexibility to switch between offshore duties and supporting the onshore workshop.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating 5 yearly Major Maintenance activities for all types of offshore lifting equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repair work for offshore cranes, hoists, and associated lifting gear as required.
- Conducting regular inspections of crane components, identifying potential issues and ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards.
- Implementing preventive maintenance schedules, corrective actions, and performance monitoring to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Leading and managing a team of maintenance technicians, providing leadership and guidance while ensuring quality and safety in all tasks performed.
