About the role:

Job Summary:

The Spa Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring that all aspects of the spa experience meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. This includes managing the spa team, coordinating spa services, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of the spa team, ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and are working together to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  2. Service Coordination: Coordinate spa services, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management, to ensure that all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  3. Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests, including the spa facilities, treatment rooms, and back-of-house areas.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality and excellence in all aspects of the spa experience, including treatments, amenities, and services.
  5. Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the spa team, ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with the spa team, other hotel departments, and guests to ensure that all needs are met and that the spa experience is seamless and enjoyable.
  7. Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring that the spa experience is not disrupted and that guests are satisfied.

Standard Duties:

  1. Guest Service: Provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guests' expectations.
  2. Hotel Policies: Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures, including those related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
  3. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure that the spa experience is seamless and enjoyable for guests.
  4. Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in response to changing circumstances, including guest needs and hotel requirements.
  5. Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, adhering to the hotel's personal appearance standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality company.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Education: A degree in hospitality, spa management, or a related field is an asset.
