Job Summary:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to support our Senior Commercial Manager in the post-contract administration of a major infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving bonds, warranties, and insurances, drafting contractual correspondence, and preparing and submitting applications for payment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve compliance of contractual documents, including bonds, warranties, and insurances.
- Draft and send contractual correspondence to stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit applications for payment under the consultancy agreement.
- Supervise independent cost consultants and review their assessments before submission.
- Review and determine contractual entitlements.
- Chair meetings and record minutes.
- Advise on value engineering and commercial best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial and contracts discipline, with a minimum of 5 years at a senior level.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
- Experience administering the FIDIC suite of contracts.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in both contractor and consultant organizations.
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience administering FIDIC form of contracts.
- Experience in highways, tunnel, marine, and structure works.
