As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective implementation and evaluation of resident/patient care in collaboration with the family and in accordance with our organization's policy and procedures and scope of service.
- Assist in the provision of resident/patient & family-centered care under supervision.
- Recognize the boundaries of your scope of practice and limits of your competence.
- Under nursing supervision, work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized care from point of first contact throughout the episode of care.
- Report all significant changes/deterioration with resident/patient condition to the registered clinician, initiate appropriate action within the scope of practice.
- Support clinical staff in the prioritization of resident/patient care.
