Job Summary

  • We are looking for a highly competent individual to maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment, and installations within our school premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine checks and maintenance on electrical systems, including switchgear, control systems, and power distribution systems.
    • Identify and rectify defects in electrical equipment and installations.
    • Ensure proper operation of motor starters, VFDs, control systems, and other electrical equipment.
  • Electrical Installation and Testing
    • Install new electrical equipment and installations, including luminaires, socket outlets, and DBs.
    • Perform live/dead tests and functional tests on electrical circuits and equipment.
    • Carry out switching operations and provide safe energization of electrical installations.
  • Inspections and Supervision
    • Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations and report any deficiencies or faults.
    • Supervise subcontractors carrying out electrical installation works.
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • 3-year Technical Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in UAE or 7 years' experience in GCC countries, with a total experience of 10 years or more, including 3 years' experience in maintenance of electrical services.
    • Fair knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems.
  • UAE driving license.
