OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The role of the Interior Fitout Technician is to guarantee that interior fitout assignments are meticulously designed, well-coordinated, and executed efficiently, fulfilling client expectations while adhering to industry benchmarks. This position is vital in connecting design with construction, ensuring the successful implementation of interior environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce comprehensive fitout schematics and layouts for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality sectors.
  • Generate 2D and 3D CAD illustrations in accordance with project requirements and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to provide precise and thorough design solutions.
  • Ensure all schematics conform to industry regulations, building codes, and project requirements.
  • Modify drawings based on input from clients and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare material estimates and assist in compiling the bill of materials.
  • Conduct site assessments to collect measurements and comprehend site conditions for accurate drawing preparation.
  • Coordinate with production and construction teams to ensure the precision and quality of fitout implementations.
  • Maintain and update all drawing files and documentation.
  • Assist in creating design presentations and engage in client discussions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fitout Technician in the GCC region.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
  • Strong knowledge of fitout construction techniques and materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE.
