Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess the health and progress of pregnant patients, including fetal monitoring and maternal assessments.
  • Assist obstetricians during examinations, deliveries, and surgical procedures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and prenatal care under the direction of physicians.
  • Support patients during labor, providing emotional and physical support throughout the birthing process.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential medical records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in obstetrics and gynecology, are required qualifications for this role. Certification in obstetrics/gynecology nursing (e.g., RNC-OB) is also desirable, as is experience in high-risk maternal-fetal care.
