Job Description

We are ClickJobs, a leading provider of IT solutions, and we are seeking experienced Database Administrators to support our clients' production and non-production environments. The successful candidates will work on a six-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension, and will be based remotely across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide database support services, including configuring and responding to system and performance alerts 24x7.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching, and actioning database-related service requests across production and non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with our clients' Database Platform Administrators, System Administrators, and Application Support teams to maintain system availability targets.
Technical Requirements:
  • Experience with Sybase ASE 16 SP4, Replication server 16 SP3, and SAP IQ 16.1.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Solaris SPARC and Linux servers.
  • Familiarity with database management tools, including ISQL, AQT, and DBArtisan.
  • Understanding of database replication and high availability concepts.
