The Ghobash Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and integrating MEP systems across large-scale oil and gas projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans for MEP systems.
- Cordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
- Review and analyze engineering designs, specifications, and technical drawings for MEP systems.
- Provide technical support during the design phase, proposing modifications or solutions to technical challenges.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of MEP systems onsite.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction and installation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage contractor performance, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Ensure all MEP systems comply with local and international standards, regulations, and codes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Monitor project budgets and costs related to MEP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering within the oil and gas industry.
