Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Inspection: Receive and inspect goods and materials, checking for damage or discrepancies and reporting any issues to the relevant stakeholders.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Storage and Organization: Ensure that storage facilities are clean, organized, and secure, with clear labeling and easy access to all stored items.
- Distribution and Dispatch: Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers and internal departments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including purchasing, sales, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of inventory movements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize inventory management, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Education: Senior School qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment, preferably in a stores or receiving section.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Purchasing Systems: Familiarity with purchasing systems and processes, including requisitioning, ordering, and inventory management.
- Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including stock control, inventory turnover, and cost analysis.
- Logistics and Supply Chain: Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
