**Job Title: Head of SEO**

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies for our clients to improve their search engine ranking and visibility.

2. Perform ongoing keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing content.

3. Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance and trends to clients and internal teams.

4. Keep up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.

5. Work closely with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.

6. Conduct technical SEO audits and make recommendations for improvements.

7. Collaborate with web developers to optimize website structure and site performance for SEO.

8. Lead the link building strategy to improve site authority.

9. Educate clients and internal teams on the importance of SEO and how it contributes to overall marketing strategy.

10. Manage and mentor SEO team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

**Qualifications**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or certification in a related field is a plus.

2. Proven experience in an SEO leadership role, preferably in an agency setting.

3. Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends.

4. Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

7. Familiarity with other aspects of digital marketing and how they interact with SEO.

8. Understanding of web design and development principles that affect SEO.

9. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

10. A proactive and self-driven attitude, with a passion for staying up to date with the latest in SEO.

**Preferred Skills**:
1. Certification in Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.

2. Experience with international SEO or local SEO.

3. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their impact on SEO.

4. Understanding of content marketing strategies and their relationship with SEO.
