Under the guidance of the Head Salon Manager, ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the operation. As per the company policy, you will be responsible for adhering to and abiding by the specific guidelines set within. This will include:

- Cleaning and hygiene maintenance of your workstation
- Being responsible for all your assigned tools and equipment
- Professional, neatly and well-groomed personal appearance
- Friendliness and team support in a professional manner.

Job Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment floor rooms and areas. These should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the Head Salon Manager and Health and Safety Standards.
- To be aware of all treatments offered and any promotion on offer at any given time.
- Assist with demonstrations/ events as required.
- Must adhere to training as set down by the director of Salon and head of Salon Manager.
- To always be punctual and prepared Salon area before shift started.
- To be able to understand and execute as per the book the set SOP’s given by the Salon Management.
- Will be expected to aid therapist/beautician/ hairdresser in setting up treatments and clearing away after them.
- Will be expected to ensure treatments cupboards are stocked with clean linen at all times and remove soiled linen.
- To received training to ensure that all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at work law and Health and Hygiene standards are implemented and monitored within the facility.
- To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as laid down by the Salon Management.
- Courtesy to guests and other member of staff at all times
- To attend to guests on both the relaxation and waiting areas ensuring that they are comfortable as well as offering drinks.
- Always maintain a clean and neat personal appearance but wearing the given uniform at all times.

1. OPERATIONS RELATED
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas, in accordance with the Health and Safety and hygiene legislation.
- To oversee requisitioning of stock by salon section.
- Will be responsible for the stock control; stock takes and orders as requested by the Salon

Director. Responsible to suggest order placing in the limits of monthly budget.
- Demonstrate courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times. Managing client or staff complain in the most elegant manner. Report any major situation to Salon Manager.
- Responsible for setting, monitoring and re-organizing the daily schedule of the team based on maximum efficiency requirements.
- Will perform duties in a highly professional manner with a friendly attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Salon Director.
- Immediately attend to any customer remarks and maintain a good customer relation at any time.

2. SALES AND MARKETING RELATED
- Will be expected to assist and perform various demonstrations and events.

Appearance:

- Badge and uniform / Special attire with Salon logo to be worn at all times.
- Hair if long, to be tied back.
- Nails to be manicured and neat at all times.
- No item of jewelry to be worn and stud type only earrings allowed.

Conduct On the Job:

- You will demonstrate a pleasant and ultra-caring personality to clients.
- You will demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs with a professional and pleasant manner.
- You shall not disclose any personal information of the salon client to other members of staff or staff outside of the salon.
- Food and drinks are not allowed within the Salon premises at any given time.
- As a member of staff, you shall not use area assigned for clients nor share bathrooms and lavatory designated to the respective Salon client.
- No chewing gum or usage of mobile phone within company premises.

Internal Requirements:

- Ensure all areas of the salon are kept neat and clean.
- Make sure that cleaning supplies inventory is always kept updates.
- Is to prepare, serve, remove as requested beverages to customers.
- Maintain at all times, all areas of the salon and spa disinfected as per standard operation procedure set by the management.
- Complete and submit necessary paperwork in a timely manner to the supervisor in-charge.

Effectiveness:

- Reach sales target as directed by management and record all sales daily.
- Promote and inform client of services and products offered by the facility.
- Ensure efficient management of all stock including keeping track of professional items used by yourself monthly basis. Be fully responsible of the tools and stocks given for use under your team supervision.
