E.ON´s subsidiary aims to deliver high integrity carbon credits at a price and volume that hard-to-abate sector with inherent large emissions volume can leverage as one of the decarbonization lever for their net-zero journeys.

As part of the launch of this project, Morgan Philips Executive Search is the exclusive partner of E.ON SE in driving all stages of the process related to the setup of the organization in the United Arab Emirates.

Morgan Philips Executive Search, the Headhunting Company, is assisting E.ON in the recruitment of a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer will be the business partner of the CEO, being both supporting and alert, she/he will act as a real Co-founder, in order to structure and organize the company. She/He handles financial information, risk assessment & management and has a perfect understanding of the business to provide financial advice in the decision-making process within the organization.

The Chief Financial Officer requires both strong technical skills and soft skills in order to act legitimate and impactful.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Leading and managing financial analysis as well as preparing reports on the financial performance of the company and the financial perspectives.

Regular monitoring of related party transactions, conflict of interest, manual of authorities, and other core business controls.

Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements to financial accounting standards and regulations.

Ensuring cash management, working capital, invoicing, receivables, foreign exchange and other processes are in place, including banking relationships.

Managing relations with all external stakeholders, in particular external auditors, and coordinates audits and response with internal resources and the Board of Directors.

Working with the CEO as a co-founder on the long-term strategic vision of the company.

Lead development and refining of economic and financial models for the project and company growth.

Providing advice and support to all collaborators and their operational needs.

Assisting with financial modeling for future projects.

Driving the culture of accountability and proactivity.

Being a daily, natural and reliable Business partner for the CEO and Ops.

Balancing between the support to Ops and the safeguard of financial assets.

Key Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor or Master's degree in finance, accounting or business administration.

+10 years of experience as Chief financial officer in the carbon market, commodity market or securities.

Previous successful experience in the commodities and stock trading marketplace.

Extensive financial modeling and structured finance experience.

Have a high level of written and oral communication skills.

Analytical skills, strong negotiation skills, quick and responsive.

Business-oriented, agile and open to change, self-disciplined and self-driven.

Problem-solver.
