Business Development Executive

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and establish connections with potential corporate clients and retail outlets to expand the company's reach and clientele.
2. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients and partners to enhance customer loyalty and maximize business opportunities.
3. Sales Targets: Achieve reasonable sales targets to contribute to the company's revenue growth and market presence.
4. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
5. Effective Communication: Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Malayalam, and Hindi to convey the company's value proposition, negotiate terms, and resolve inquiries.
6. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's gold and diamond products to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and uniqueness to potential clients.
7. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to connect with potential clients, partners, and industry professionals.
8. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to showcase our products and services, tailored to the specific needs of each client.
9. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards targets using Microsoft Office tools.
10. Telecalling (Added Advantage): Utilize telecalling techniques to initiate contact with potential clients, follow up on leads, and schedule meetings for in-person presentations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Preferably, prior experience in the gold or jewelry industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Gujarati/Malayalam, and Hindi.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Telecalling experience is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
