Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager with expertise in non-financial risk management, focusing on Operational Risk Management (ORM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and frameworks to safeguard our company's operations and mitigate potential non-financial risks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Non-Financial Risk Management: Develop and execute comprehensive risk management programs to identify, assess, and manage non-financial risks across the organization, with a particular focus on Operational Risk, Business Continuity Management, and Third-Party Risk Management.
- Operational Risk Management (ORM): Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks throughout the organization. Develop and implement risk frameworks, controls, and reporting mechanisms, such as KRIs, Op Risk Event and RCSA, to ensure effective risk governance and operational resilience.
- Business Continuity Management (BCM): Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust Business Continuity plans and strategies. Coordinate business impact analyses, recovery plans, and testing activities to ensure the organization's ability to respond effectively to disruptions and maintain critical operations.
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Manage the evaluation and mitigation of risks associated with third-party relationships. Conduct vendor and outsourcing service provider assessments, due diligence, contract reviews, and ongoing monitoring to minimize potential risks and ensure compliance with risk management standards.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments, analyze potential vulnerabilities, and recommend risk mitigation strategies and controls. Continuously monitor and review operational processes, identify emerging risks, and provide proactive risk management guidance to stakeholders.
- Policy and Framework Development: Develop and enhance risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. Ensure clear communication and understanding of risk management guidelines throughout the company.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training sessions and awareness programs to enhance risk awareness and foster a risk-aware culture within the organization. Educate employees on risk management policies, procedures, and their responsibilities in identifying and managing risks.
- Incident Response and Crisis Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test incident response plans, ensuring timely and effective responses during crisis situations. Support business units in the execution of recovery plans and lessons learned activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on non-financial risk management, operational risk management, business continuity management, and third-party risk management.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of non-financial risk management principles, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends. Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 31000, ISO 22301, COSO ERM, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive risk management initiatives.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) would be advantageous.
- Leadership and Project Management: Proven experience in leading risk management projects, managing teams, and delivering results within established timelines.
